• Light: This succulent prefers bright, indirect light. It can tolerate some direct sunlight, especially in the morning or late afternoon, but avoid intense midday sun, which can scorch the leaves. Indoors, place it near a window with filtered sunlight or in a location where it receives bright, indirect light.

• Watering: Allow the top inch or so of soil to dry out between waterings. Water thoroughly when watering, ensuring excess water drains away to prevent waterlogged conditions, which can lead to root rot. Reduce watering in winter when growth slows down.

• Soil: Use a well-draining succulent or cactus potting mix. Adding perlite or coarse sand can improve drainage. Ensure the pot has drainage holes to prevent water from pooling at the bottom.

• Fertilizing: Feed Crassula marnieriana lightly with a balanced, diluted fertilizer during the growing season (spring and summer). Avoid fertilizing in fall and winter when the plant is resting.
