USES: Strong and continual flowering. Tropical effect. Does well as a shrub, hedge, container plant, en masse, around pools, patios, courtyards and in moon gardens. 

LOCATION: Full sun to partial shade. Does well in the more humid coastal areas with some protection from direct sea wind. 

SOIL: Best in an organically enriched, well draining fertile soil with a pH 5.6 – 7.5, acidic to neutral. Will show leaf chlorosis if soil is too alkaline or saline. 

FERTILISER: Apply a slow release 13:13:13 NPK annually in spring. 

WATER: Keep soil moist. Moderately drought tolerant for very short periods only. Does not accept over irrigation or waterlogging.
