Plant care:

• Water: Keep the soil moist, but don’t let it get too wet. Morning watering works best because it gives the leaves time to dry out, which helps prevent diseases.
• Soil: Use soil that drains well and has a slightly acidic pH (5.5-6.8). Adding organic compost can make the soil richer and better for the plants.
• Fertilizing: Give them a balanced fertilizer during the growing season, but don’t overdo it. Too much can cause lots of leaves but little fruit.
• Pollination: If you’re growing strawberries inside, you might need to help with pollination. A small paintbrush can do the trick—just move it between flowers to spread the pollen.
